Kutch, Gujarat - Cyclone Biparjoy made landfall in Kutch on Wednesday afternoon, causing widespread damage and leaving thousands of people displaced. The cyclone, which was classified as a severe cyclonic storm, brought with it heavy rains and strong winds, causing the inundation of Mandvi beach and toppling of shops in the area.





According to reports, wind speeds in the region rose to nearly 100 km/h, leading to the evacuation of the area and relocation of nearly one lakh people to temporary shelters. The authorities had issued warnings ahead of the cyclone's arrival and had urged people to take necessary precautions.
